Container Rental Services
Marpan has been in the container rental business since 1966. We provide containers when and where you need them. Our rental process is simple, and our high-quality containers are convenient for businesses and residents.
Locations
Marpan’s three locations provide businesses and residents in Tallahassee and Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson, Gadsden and Franklin counties with services to help them manage their debris removal. Our material recovery process minimizes the amount of waste that ends up in landfills.
Class III and Construction & Demolition Material Recycling
Our material recovery facility off Woodville Highway accepts C&D debris and Class III materials:
- Large tree limbs and trunks
- Construction and demolition materials
- Large furniture items
- White goods (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines)
A Simple Process
Step 1: Weigh Your Truck
When you arrive at our facility, you will drive your truck onto the inbound scale of the scale house.
Step 2: Unload Your Truck
One of our attendants will weigh your vehicle/trailer and direct you to the appropriate area based on the type of material you have. You will then be guided over to the location by one of our spotters who will tell you where to back up and unload.
Step 3: Weigh Your Truck Again and Checkout
Once unloaded, you will return to the outbound scale of the scale house where you will be weighed again and charged for the difference in your weight.
Household Recycling
Marpan’s state-of-the-art facilities process household recyclables in a system called single stream recycling. Leon County residents no longer have to separate recyclable paper, plastic, metal and glass. It all goes into the same bin and Marpan handles the sorting.
HELPFUL RECYCLING TIPS:
- Do not bag your recyclables. Put them directly into the green recycling bin. It’s that easy!
- Do not include food waste, hazardous materials, plastic bags, shredded paper, or styrofoam in the recycling bin.
OTHER SERVICES
In addition to renting front load and roll off dumpsters, compactors and balers, we also sell recycled material, maintain waste equipment and sell personal protective equipment and other items at the Marpan Supply Store.
